Introduction
The Head of Sales is accountable to define, implement and manage a Long Term Insurance Brand strategic operational plan that aligns to, and supports the achievement of the overall Telesure Operations strategy. The role exists to ensure a sustainable Long Term Insurance business through the profitable contribution . This includes tactically and strategically positioning the sales channels in the
life insurance market and growing market share. To grow the existing direct sales channels, this includes life insurance, investment, funeral, digital sales,high advice teams and inbound and outbound sales.planning, directing and managing strategic brand operational objectives that align to the relevant brand marketing strategy to deliver the desired customer experience, positive employee engagement and increase profitable book growth. To drive innovation through agile and collaborative work practices.

Requirements
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Essential experience for the role includes:
•5 - 7 years management experience
•8 - 10 years relevant experience within Long term insurance operations
•2 years solid experience in inbound and outbound call centre sales (Essential)
•Experience in the life insurance industry (Advantageous)

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

•Matric / Grade 12 or SAQA Accredited Equivalent*
•Degree or relevant qualification in business/commercial management SAQA Accredited Equivalent* (Essential)
•Post graduate qualification in business management commercial management or SAQA Accredited Equivalent* (Preferred)
•RE1 / Key individual** (Essential) - Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) competency requirements: FAIS recognized qualifications / Regulatory Examinations / Class of Business Certification and / or CPD
according to your DOFA (where applicable)
