Purpose of the position:
To lead, plan, organize, direct, control & evaluate the operations of the restaurant ensuring activities operate efficiently and profitably while maintaining their reputation and ethos.

The Restuarant Manager’s core functions are:
1.Planning: Translate the business strategy into the divisional strategy, preparing business plans to meet the needs of the business.
2.Financial: Prepare and manage all financial aspects of the restaurant
3.Business support: Providing support and service delivery to the Vineyard Hotel’s F&B departments
4.Leadership: Leading a dynamic team, ensuring they are resourced to deliver on the business imperatives.
5.Operational: Ensure a professional support function that delivers world class service.
1.Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Restaurant Manager in an upmarket restaurant / luxury/5* hotel outlet experience
2.Hospitality qualification would be advantageous;
3.Proven track record of managing a large team
4.Solid financial and administration acumen with skill in stock control
5.Solid food and beverage knowledge and industry/competitor trends
