The Human Resources Manager will be required to interpret the functional strategy and develop integrated Human Resource Business Plans to support the organisation to execute its strategy. This role needs to initiate appropriate systems and functional best practices to optimize the performance.
Technical Work Responsibilities
Create, maintain and review Human Resource Plan
Implement Human Resource Forecasting, Planning, Management and Control
Enforce Human Resources Governance
Assist Management in developing the Organisation Design and Workforce Plan
Manage the recruitment request (ATE) process and the on boarding process
Assist Management with the management of performance and talent reviews
Develop succession plans for critical positions
Lead the process of identifying divisional training needs and manage the training process
Develop and implement a retention process
Manage the complete termination process
Embed the desired Organisation Culture
Manage and support Organisational Development interventions’, which includes but is not limited to change management, organisational design, time and motion studies, performance management, employment equity, transformation, etc
Guide the organisation in the co-ordination of the employee relation process
Provide overall HR guidance based on best practices
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management
Post graduate qualification
At least 7 years’ experience in a generalist HR capacity of which at least 4 years at a management level
Proven experience in the application of human resource best practices
Knowledge of organisational design and development principles
Lesotho Citizen or valid work permit to work in Lesotho
Advanced computer skills
Moderate overnight travel (up to 30%) by land or air if required
Willing to work overtime
