The Company seeks the services of a Maintenance Trainer-Mechanical who will be reporting to the Project Controls Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for Coaching concentrator operators and maintenance supervisory personnel and build a superior safety culture aligning to the Mopani Safety Management plan. Moreover, assist and strengthen the commissioning, ramp-up and stable operations. Be on the ground to train operators and maintainers to operate, maintain and faulty find. Additionally, enforce the work management process to ensure continuous improvements.

Industries Mining
1.Craft Certificate in Mechanical Engineering.
2.Must be a member of Engineering Institute of Zambia (EIZ).
3.At least 10 years’ experience in the mining industry.
4.Solid knowledge of maintenance in Mechanical equipment.
5.Must have high ethical standards
1.Lead and demonstrate all safe work practices associated with the maintenance requirements of the processing facility.
2.Develop leaders amongst all maintenance personnel to lead teams and ensure all company policies and procedures are followed such as PTW and SWPs.
3.Engage and Develop individuals to identify hazards and encourage confidence to stop work if new or unidentified hazards present unexpectedly.
4.Lead and train the maintenance requirements of all individual equipment (incl. vendor supplied) within the processing facility maximising asset life, run time and overall production.
5.Develop individual skill sets of Mopani maintenance personnel by developing training programs and skill development modules.
6.Train and instruct maintenance personnel on correct radio communication protocol for normal operations and emergency procedures.
7.Develop standard job packages and train maintenance personnel on routine inspections, the importance of recording information and data into the central maintenance management system (CMMS).
