Responsible for the communication, co-ordination, compliance and quality for specific shipments handled on behalf of nominated customer based within FM&S in relation to sea freight and airfreight exports

•Be able to pro-actively manage the entire export process for sea freight, airfreight, courier and road freight
•Must have a thorough understanding of the export process, with particular capability around export requirements into Africa.
• Pro-active and effective planning of workload to ensure customer agreed KPI’s and expectations are met. This needs to be performed in-line with the agreed SOP’s and registers
• Accurate financial processing – ensuring creditors invoices are timeously processed.
• The ability to create accurate and precise estimates for all consignments
•Ensure service level reports regarding suppliers service to ourselves is regularly completed for monitoring by management
•Prompt resolution of all queries.
•Matric or Grade 12
•Other industry related qualifications would be recognized
•Minimum of 4 – 5 years’ experience in freight forwarding - specifically exports and estimates.
•Must have a thorough understanding of the export clearing and forwarding process and operational function.
•Must have relevant exports experience
•Must have experience in compiling estimates
