The key objectives are the following:

To provide support to the Director: Corporate Operations in respect to the Portfolio of Projects and Programmes that the Corporate Operations Department manages and supports. The department is responsible for four portfolios – Facilities Management, Fleet Management, Asset Management and Sourcing and Purchasing (Assets and Marketing).

Requirements
YOU SHOULD HAVE:

Project Management qualification
High level of computer literacy
Diploma/Degrees in relevant Facilities and Operational Management fields (advantageous)

WORK EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Project and Facilities/ Operations Management role in respect to:
Programme design-implementation-management
Project Management
Facilities Management
Fleet Management
Asset Management
Sourcing and Purchasing
Financial management - budgets and petty cash
Administration management
Staff recruitment, development and management
Training and mentoring (succession planning)
Stakeholder management

•At least 5 years’ experience in a line management role within a complex non-profit entity
•Creative and innovative
•Relationship builder with the flexibility and finesse to “manage by influence”
•Self-starter, able to work independently, and entrepreneurial, enjoys creating and implementing new initiatives

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Written references
SA Citizen or valid work permit to work in South Africa
Advanced computer skills
Own car
Valid Driver’s license
Moderate travel (up to 50%) by land or air if required
Willing to work overtime
