The Strategic Information Director is responsible for to ensuring the management and implementation of strong M&E systems and procedures that allow for the tracking of Programme performance and flagging of gaps through regular monitoring of Programme implementation processes and outcomes.

Technical Work Responsibilities
Liaison with stakeholders
Management of M&E systems, procedures, and staffing
Evaluate project implementation fidelity (e.g. intervention coverage, quality and quantity, as well as resource allocation)
Identification of opportunities for M&E future funding and proposals
Oversee and assist with the analysis of programme data, to include key surveillance activities
Coordinate the key reporting preparation and ensure quality timely reports submission of PEPFAR/other reports
Human Capital management
Bachelor’s degree in public health, statistics, epidemiology, data management or other relevant field; medical, nursing highly desired.
Master’s degree in similar areas is highly desirable.

5 to 10 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
At least 2 years experience in the monitoring and evaluation of PEPFAR Funded Projects
Familiarity with Statistical Software Packages (Medical Strata and Data, advanced Statistical Software Programmes, e.g. R, Stata)

Proficient personal computer skills (Word Processing, Spreadsheets, Graphics etc.)
Lesotho Citizen or permanent resident
Minimal/Moderate/Excessive overnight travel (up to 30%) by land or air if required
Willing to work overtime
