Controlling the Engineering Maintenance Store by ensuring accurate stock keeping and maintenance of all Engineering Spares and Special Tools. Perform quality management administrative and other activities in support of the Technical Services Department to enhance compliance to systems and processes as set out in the QMS.

•Manage the maintenance store according to industry best practises.
•May at times be required to create, issue and submit purchase orders for both goods and services for approval in absence of Procurement Officer.
•Receive, issue and control inventory of Engineering Spares and special tools.
•Ensure that spares issued are correctly expensed to the respective cost codes.
•Preserve the spares so that they are fit for use by applying good stores maintenance practices.
•Ensure that the inventory is current, neatly stored, labelled and segregated.
•Control access to prevent stock loss and abuse.
•Perform stock takes and produce regular, accurate inventory value, inventory movement and other stores reports
•Inform reliability engineer when critical spares are unavailable and when return-to-store items are overdue.

2.Participation in budget development, monitoring and control for area of responsibility. Adhering to procedures for stock and non-stock acquisitions.
3.Assist in maintenance management systems activities and act as stand-in when the regular Reliability Systems Assistant is not present

4.Responsible for replenishment of Heavy Fuel Oil for the site boilers.

5.Participate in the execution of reliability initiatives to improve plant performance.

6.Provide administrative support and ensure timeous close-out of items related to:
•Risk Assessments
•Change Control
•SOP updates and training
•Internal and External Audit Findings

7.From time to time carry out other jobs within the department / factory, which are consistent with the grade, qualification and training of the incumbent.
•Matric qualification and one to two years tertiary education in Engineering or Logistics. Recognised qualification preferred.
Minimum two to three years practical experience in a maintenance management or logistics and stock keeping field.
Experience with a quality management system advantageous.
