The Deputy Nursing Services Manager is responsible for co-ordinating improved Quality Nursing Care by ensuring compliance to professional and ethical practice. The incumbent is responsible for monitoring and ensuring that nursing care and service delivery is implemented and practiced within a multi-disciplinary quality assurance team and further accountable for co-ordinating capacity building, mentoring, training and providing leadership in Clinical Governance. Drives implementation of Clinix Group Quality initiatives with strong abilities to coach others and to challenge the status quo and overcome resistance to change and timeous resolution of complaints.

Drive continuous quality improvement initiatives , Management of patient and Doctor complaints
Recruitment, Staff engagement and performance management, Preparation and participation in Cohsasa /DOH audits
Ensure adherence to set standards in all departments by conducting regular document and clinical outcome audits
Identification of top risk areas and manage accordingly with the relevant clinical department,
Management of labor hours on KRONOS and leave planning to manage costs, Manage CAPEX process and approve accordingly, Oversee clinical areas where Unit Manager is on leave
Daily staff planning and approval according to acuity, Manage Nursing hours per patient per day to keep within set budget
Mentoring and coaching of Unit Managers as well as Clinical Facilitators, Overall management of the Hospital in the absence of the Nursing Services Manager
B. Cur/Diploma in General Nursing.
Current registration with South African Nursing Council.
BLS qualification.
Further Business Management qualification advantageous.
Updated ACLS/PALS/ATLS advantageous.
Experience at a managerial/supervisory level.
Computer Literacy.
