Introduction

We are looking for an experienced passionate team member to join our dynamic and newly structured marketing department, designed to deliver a quality experience to our remarkable customers.

The Store Experience Manager leads the concept creation of all marketing-driven display and communications to the different store formats within PEP. This person is responsible to define, design and implement a creative visual marketing strategy and leverages all the information at their disposal to understand what a customer needs. This is then translated into delivering an enhanced shopping experience. This person will play a pivotal role as the main point of contact between Marketing and Sales when it comes to implementing new creative concepts and idea

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Through research ensures the business is current with display/marketing trends to improve PEP in-store experience and increase sales
Ensures window & In-store displays meet company standards and deliver on marketing strategy and communication strategy set by the business
Planning new product coordination of elements required for promotions, store openings and campaigns
Ensure that all promotional themes are well showcased in stores and in alignment with marketing calendar
Provides a creative brief on signage requirements
Coach and mentor marketing team to ensure high store standard is achieved
Manage and coordinate effective store communication with the Sales department
Manage all marketing in-store suppliers (printing and production)
Manage the tender process - during the tender cycle
Continuously look for innovation and efficiency opportunities with in-store POS
Constantly test and research the latest Retail trends to ensure that we offer a great shopping experience
Attend international trade shows to find better and smarter ways to communicate with customers
Map and update the customer journey across brands: have insight into the brands and how to communicate and deliver the best customer experience
Requirements


JOB REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree, prefrably in marketing, design, retail
5+ years of work experience as a VM or similar role in marketing or operations department
Proven work experience as a visual merchandiser i.e. visual design skills, window displays space
Proficiency in visual design tools
Knowledge of current visual merchandising trends and best practices
Proficiency in Google Suite
Creative and innovative thinker
Corel Draw/Photoshop skills (design experience)
Research Skills (Desirable)
