Requirements
Minimum Qualification/ Knowledge and/or
•A relevant Doctorate level degree (i.e. D Tech / PhD / NQF 10 or equivalent)
•At least eight years’ research / teaching / lecturing experience in the relevant subject field, including experience in the management of research projects
•An NRF-rating of C2 or a comparable H-index will be required
•Proven record of research outputs in line with CUT’s promotion requirements for Professor
•Proven record of external funding applications, awards and management.
•Lead/manage at least one research project
•Registration with relevant professional body, depending on the field of study
•Involvement as an editor/reviewer/external examiner


Desired Qualification, Knowledge and/or Experience
•Minimum of three years’ experience in a similar position.
