The Junior Developer contributes to the organisational goals by creating and maintaining quality software systems.
|Job Functions||Information Technology|
Create & Optimize communication channels using the latest available technologies
Monitor & Optimize speed of response
Create standards and best practices for the API interfaces
Ensure adherence to security and regulatory requirements
To analyse and clarify pre-defined software requirements and / or technical designs to ensure comprehensive understanding of business need
To provide suitable solutions based on the business need, developed within the architecture framework

Knowledge and Experience Requirements
Level of Education:
Grade 12 / SAQA Accredited Equivalent (Essential)
A recognized software development certification / degree / diploma
2-3 years experience, preferably in RPG, alternatively PHP, Cobol
Previous experience within a financial services environment.
Comprehensive understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle
Understanding of System Design principles and frameworks
Attention to detail
