Fraser Alexander is a leading supplier of Mining services which include: Minerals Processing, Construction and Tailings. A solid and well respected brand in the mining services area is looking to attract key talents to add to its existing pool of highly sought after professionals.
This position reports to the General Manager and it exists to ensure efficient management of sites in a specific area to achieve contractual objectives.
Ensure that contract obligations and terms are interpreted implemented and managed at sites.
Convey FAMP decisions taken at MANCO/Board meetings at sites.
Compile reports to General Manager on issues at sites e.g. production achieved, cost, customer relations, HR and SHEQ.
Customer Relations Management
Regular contact with clients and ensure a 100% customer satisfaction rate as well as positive feedback.
Assist Site Manager in dealing with unresolved issues.
Ensure SLA’s are adhered to and regular meetings take place.
Provide SHE standards and procedures aligned with client SHE programmes.
Assess SHE performance of site management through formal site audits.
Identify sub standard practices that does not comply 100% to legislation and the policies and procedures of Fraser Alexander.
Monitor corrective actions.
Suggest improvements and corrective action.
Liaise with FAMP SHEQ department for support and assistance to sites.
Develop financial budget for the business unit.
Monitor revenue & costs vs budget.
Identify trends of critical consumables and overhead costs.
Compile and implement corrective action plans to rectify negative trends.
Implement positive trends at sites.
Managing the Team
Select and appoint competent and passionate people.
Implement and monitor work management.
Train and develop team members.
Create a culture of high performance and maintain discipline in the site teams.
Promote company values at the business unit.
Ensures that site management maintain own/client’s assets according to FAMP/Client engineering standards.
Ensures that maintenance is managed cost-effectively at sites.
Ensures maintenance system is implemented and maintained at all sites.
B.Sc. Degree in Engineering studies or an equivalent qualification
Management/Business related qualification would be advantageous
10-15 years applicable experience will be required
