The key performance areas of the role are:
•Capture enrolment and monthly service form, referral form, HIV STAT disengagement and other relevant forms on CBIMS as per process on CBIMS database.
•Capture clinical cascade monitoring form, DREAMS tracker information including viral load information.
•Complete daily and weekly data capturing targets and produce a problem report on data capturing for site as per need of the programme.
•Follow up on Enrolment files and files for re-servicing .
•Clean the raw data where needed, conduct data verification, including on site data verification on a monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual basis.
•Update knowledge on program indicators monthly and Alert the M&E Officer and sub-awardee management of major issues.
•Review data on CBIMS to identify and address any missing data, inconsistencies, discrepancies, or errors.
•Identify and address data quality issues and assist with database queries on internal data management systems and Provide feedback on database queries to staff.
•Maintain regular contact with CYCW and mentors throughout the month to check progress on targets, reporting, and any issues of concern.
•Ensure that sub-awardees are well prepared for SIMS assessments by USAID.
•Assist sub awardee staff with the understanding and implementation of the M&E system and to assess data quality, validity and reliability.
•Attend regular M&E workshops, relevant staff enrichment training sessions, meetings and training courses as required.
•Assist with training and technical support of NACOSA and grantee and/or member organization staff on M&E policies, procedures and tools.
•Access the data management system CBIMS to extract reports, coordinate system updates, etc.
•A Matric certificate
•Some additional tertiary qualification in a related field will be highly advantageous
•Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience within a data driven environment
•Experience working with data management systems (ex. CBIMS) highly advantageous
•Ability to capture large amounts of data in a fast-paced, high stress environment
•Good computer skills with high levels of Computer literacy- databases, excel intermediate
•Must be Target driven and deadline driven
•Proven ability to coordinate work activities across different functions within a team
•Valid drivers’ license, own reliable vehicle and willingness to travel
