Specification
To coordinate Anaesthesiology programme in the Northern Campus in Oshakati/Onandjokwe/Ongwediva. To lecture in Anaesthesiology modules to the undergraduate students and Master of Medicine in Anaesthesiology students, Critical Care & Pain Management to Postgraduate students; conduct bedside teaching and demonstrations in the theatre at teaching hospitals, assessments of students including examinations management and engage in research and publications activities, participate in curriculum development for Diploma in Anaesthesia at UNAM, provide service to the academic and wider community, and perform any other duties as may be required.
Requirements
A Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) degree, Master of Medicine degree (MMed) in Anaesthesiology, Critical Care & Pain Management, plus a Fellowship from a recognized college. Registered or registerable with the Health Professions Council of Namibia (HPCNA), demonstrated at least three (3) years clinical or lecturing experience at Lecturer level and a satisfactory record of research and publications will be an added advantage.
