BITRI is working with collaborating partners in the development of catalytic processes that would convert ethanol to ethylene oxide as a point-of-use disinfectant. The successful candidate will work on an aspect of the project that involves the synthesis of catalysts and testing the catalyst for the epoxidation of ethylene to ethylene oxide and scaling up of the epoxidation process. Research will be undertaken at BITRI.
