Specification

KEY ROLE:

The incumbent in this position will fulfill the role of a Senior Consultant in the Geo&Water Team and will be focused on geohydrological and other related geoscience projects (i.e. contaminated land).


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Delivery of projects including proposal writing, fieldwork, technical reporting, client engagement, project financial management and Quality Assurance.
•Projects will largely focus on the geohydrological discipline however the incumbent will also be expected to be involved in a range of other projects such as contaminated land, hydrological studies etc.
•Engagement and collaboration with colleagues to ensure first-class project delivery to a range of clients.
•Contribution to the company business development in terms of identifying market and service opportunities & potential clients, as well as participating in business development initiatives.
•Undertaking of all required project and staff administrative functions in accordance with the company procedures and timetables e.g. project financial reporting and forecasting, invoicing, assisting with the debt management process, expenses and timesheet submissions.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

•BSc (Honours) in geological or geohydrological sciences.
•Minimum of 1st-year chemistry and mathematics/statistics in degree.
•Minimum 5 years of consulting experience in geohydrological sciences, including numerical modelling
•Pr Sci Nat registration
•Valid driver’s licence and minimum 5-years driving experience.
