To participate in the development of the Medihelp Benefit Options and other value add products and services through research conducted and ensuring competitive
intelligence gathered.

To ensure benefit options and value add products are marketable, sustainable and exhibits innovative thinking in the medical scheme industry to align with the
Medihelp’s strategic objectives.

Relevant honours degree in Actuarial Science.

Seven (7) years’ applicable experience in a healthcare environment.

The candidate must also have at least two (2) years’ experience on management level.

Knowledge of the following:

Product development in the medical schemes sector, financial services, loyalty and reward programmes;

Interpretation of research results;

Competitor environment and trends; and

Consumer behaviour and buying decisions.

Valid K53 driving license.

Must possess the following skills:

Advanced computer literacy;

Good verbal and written communication skills; and

Leadership.
