The purpose of the role is to enable cross-functional teams to develop medium-to-complex business / customer/ employee solutions using the Agile way of working that integrates the business and technical needs. To help, establish a high-performing team dynamic, a continuous flow, and an exponential improvement.

Builds and coaches teams to be high performing and ensures teams actions are aligned with the project goals/vision

Ensures that scrum practices are used and improved within cross teams

Manages the engineering development projects and facilitates sprint releases

Drives team iteration execution, communicates with management and stakeholders, protects the team from uncontrolled injection of work (changes are evaluated/intentional)

Manages project conflicts, challenges and dynamic business requirements to keep operations running at a high performance

Carries out post mortem and root cause analysis to help teams continuously improve their practices to ensure maximum productivity

Leads team effort in relentless improvement, define and implement improvement stories to increase the velocity and quality of the program, implement and support principles, rules and processes

Fosters a continuous learning environment, helping teams to inspect and adapt

Looks for ways to strengthen teams understanding of Agile / Scrum concepts and principles

Identifies trade-offs between short and long term benefits to drive shared vision between the team and product owner

Responsible for continuous improvement and coaching of area team members in agile concepts

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences, Digital or similar field

MBA or similar business related masters degree would be an added advantage

Certified Agile Coach / Scrum Master

At least 5 years’ experience as an Agile Coach or Scrum Master in a software development and/or project management delivering tech projects

At least 3-5 successfully delivered projects using Scrum methodology in the role as Agile Coach / Scrum Master and 2 years leading sprints
