The purpose of the role is to drive the development, growth and profitability of MSE across all subsidiaries, ensuring changing customer, business needs and requirements are recognised and adapted on a timely basis across subsidiaries.

Provides product performance oversight in line with Group strategy and budgets for the MSE sector
Develops growth and defence strategies for the MSE sector market
Leads product innovation in MSE market
Drives revenue growth through formulation and implementation of MSE sector campaigns using intelligent and descriptive customer insights.
Provides direction and guidance on the roll-out of all MSE sector projects including new products through developing strong partnerships with the in-country and group stakeholders ensuring successful delivery of projects across the subsidiaries.
Ensures all initiatives within the business programme provide positive outcomes with focus on ROI and a cost-conscious approach.
Drives and influences the alignment of the MSE sector country strategies to that of the Group to ensure a single face to the market with a compelling value proposition.
Ensures compliance with statutory, regulatory and supervisory requirements across the MSE sector subsidiaries.
Identifies innovation opportunities that leverage the business agenda for MSE sector, constantly seeking to improve and enhance the MSE sector model.
Develops a strategic plan to maximize sales opportunities while protecting loyalty by ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction
Identifies the important decision-makers, set out a contact strategy for building relationships with decision-makers and outlines revenue targets for each product that the organization sells to MSEs
7.12.Increases sales to enterprise customers, by influencing many different decision-makers, including purchasing managers, finance directors, senior executives and managers of departments that use the product or service
A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Business Administration or equivalent.
A Masters’ degree in business will be an added advantage
At least 15 years post qualification experience of which 5 years should have been in a senior management role, in the financial services industry preferably Banking / Microfinance
Extensive experience of leading a product function in a retail financial services environment
Demonstrated track record in identifying, driving and delivering on improvements to a digital customer experience within a financial services environment
Strong cross-functional experience across multiple business units and/or industries
