The Commercial Executive will be responsible for directing all sales activities and implementing the national sales strategy within the company and ensuring sales growth and revenue growth year on year. The executive is responsible for the efficient management of the Commercial Department, including all sales-related activities and direct sales efforts, follow-up, and proper sales administration. The Executive is also responsible for growing existing accounts and generating new business to maximize revenue and profits and to improve the Fundi’s performance in the marketplace.
Develop and implement the sales strategy in line with the business strategy incl. positioning Fundi as a key service provider in the different segments (Government, Corporate and Institutions).
Implement operational sales and business development strategy across all sales distribution channels
Define short, medium and long-term Fundi sales goals
Establish and maintain sound relationships with key business stakeholders incl. customers
Identify business opportunities, negotiate and close business deals and maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions
Continuous tracking with regards to the status of all deals within the department including pending, approved, lost and signed.
Active participation and contribution in company strategy and corporate initiatives.
Work with Marketing to identify trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events
Work with the internal teams, specifically marketing, finance and operations to increase sales opportunities and thereby maximize revenue and ensure service and operational delivery for clients
Make strategic and operational decisions by analyzing customer, sales, product, revenue and expenses data and reports
Develop and implement pricing strategies to remain competitive in the markets and segment we operate in and maximize revenue
BCom/BA in Marketing, Advertising or commercial degree
