Specification | Main Purpose of Job You will be responsible for researching topics and writing copy for a range of content pieces that clearly showcase IsoMetrix’s value whilst staying true to our brand and maximizing search performance. You understand the impact and performance of all content toward marketing goals. You will work with internal subject matter experts across IsoMetrix, as well as partners and customers, to brainstorm and develop content for a wide variety of marketing channels. The right candidate will keep a finger on the pulse of content being published and shared across the broader industry; and make recommendations on topics that highlight IsoMetrix’s voice, thought leadership and expertise. The writer will be expected to sustain and develop the company's voice across all content. You will design communication campaigns and tailor messaging to engage audiences at each stage of the buying cycle, across different industries and geographical regions. Primary Responsibilities: The senior content writer is responsible for several aspects of marketing: • Create content provides value and increases engagement • Write content that’s optimized for search engines, and draws engagement that converts visitors into leads and sales • Create long-form content such as white papers and eBooks • Proactively interview internal subject matter experts, external partners and customers to develop case studies, articles for publications, scripts for videos, and other thought leadership-based content • Ask probing questions to capture a key message and tell a compelling and concise story that brings the message to life • Research industry, competitor, and customer information to clearly express and position problems, benefits, and differentiators • Develop and implement a multi-channel communication plan (including email) to engage our customers and prospective customers, across different regions and industries • Work with a designer to create compelling adverts with powerful copy • Use marketing automation software to deliver marketing campaigns and measure results • Conduct analytical projects to improve blog strategies/tactics • Grow blog subscribers, increase email engagement rates and convert website visitors into leads • Provide feedback to other contributors and edit other writers’ content • Help develop the brand and work with the wider business to ensure we deliver a consistent message across the different communication mediums and offices |

Requirements | Minimum Education/Training: • Bachelors (science, arts) in English, Communications, Creative Writing, or related field • Understanding of marketing and brand • Experience of managing website content and SEO • Experience with CRM and marketing automation software • Certified in Google Analytics and/or search console • Design software such as InDesign and Adobe Photoshop (intermediate level preferred) • Microsoft Excel Minimum Work Experience: • 2- 5 years of content marketing experience, preferably in B2B tech/software industry • Exceptional writing and editing skills, as well as the ability to adopt the style, tone, and voice of our business' various types of content • Excellent organizational skills to work independently and manage projects with many moving parts • Proven experience developing content for blogs, case studies, whitepapers, articles, press releases, infographics, emails, and website pages based on primary search results • Excellent collaborative, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively as a member of a fast-paced marketing team • Ideally have experience writing about, or writing content for, high risk industries including mining and energy • Ideally have experience writing about facets of risk management such as environment, health and safety. • Portfolio of writing samples will be required if selected for an interview Personal Attributes: • Positive and motivated self-starter • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Excellent attention to detail • Enjoys being creative and has a penchant for design • Well organized with the ability to multi-task • Able to work under pressure • Goal-oriented |
