Specification | The purpose of the GNFR Manager is to design, implement and manage a procuring strategy which enables the business to effectively source resources that allows the business to operate efficiently. |

Requirements | JOB OBJECTIVES Procuring strategy •Accountable for developing a procuring strategy which will guide internal stakeholders on the policies, principles and or procedures to follow when requesting assets. •Responsible for reviewing the company’s spend cube and to identify, propose and implement procuring opportunities based on the information. Third Party Engagement •Accountable for engaging, negotiating and managing the relationship between suppliers used to procure requested items. •Responsible for overseeing compliance by ensuring the selected suppliers comply with Barron’s procurement/sourcing policy. •Responsible for supplier capacity planning as well as geographic capacity planning. •Accountable for ensuring that the goods sourced are within budget and advise heads of department, if requested item is out of budget. •Accountable to oversee RFP processes to optimize sourcing value. •Accountable for responsible sourcing. Supplier SLA Management •Responsible for updating supplier master agreement(s) ensuring all relevant supplier information is collected and documented. •Responsible for legal review of agreements. •Responsible for updating and negotiating all payment terms with suppliers, ensure the terms are signed by all relevant stakeholders, sent to the suppliers and ensure suppliers confirm receipt of the signed documents. •Responsible for sending code of conducts to all current existing suppliers and ensuring they are aware of the term contained in the document. •Manage and monitor supplier agreements by ensuring that all signed contracts are submitted as well as ensuring that all supporting documents and certification(s) are attached. QUALIFICATION Honours in Logistics/ Finance or equivalent (NQF8) KNOWLEDGE Understanding contracts/ Legal documents Administration and management Procuring Principles Supplier management Costing models Negotiation EXPERIENCE Procurement Manager/ GNFR Manager 3- 5 years (essential) Buying/Procurement in Retail & Wholesaler Industry 5-8 years (desirable) SKILLS Negotiation skills Tactical sourcing Research Analytical problem solving Numerical Comprehension Microsoft D365 (Finance) COMPETENCY AREA Examining Information Documenting Facts Interpreting data Making Decision Checking Things Upholding standards Challenging Ideas ADDITIONAL Needs to be flexible in terms of working hours - might be required to work late or over weekends from time to time South African citizen JOB GRADE D2 |
