Ecowize is an international Hygiene and Sanitation company renowned for continual improvement and technological innovation.

As part of our 2021 strategy to expand into new markets and offer comprehensive solutions to industry-specific customers, we require an innovative and experienced Commercial Chief Finance Officer to join the Ecowize Group SA.

The successful incumbent must be Commercially minded and focus on leadership, operations, controls and strategy.

Purpose of the role:
To collaborate with contract managers to resolve contractual and commercial issues and develop plans that coincide with business targets. The main duty is to oversee expenses and revenue to create financial returns and business growth. This role can be very fast-paced and requires candidates who are self-motivated.

High-level Job Objectives
1.Provide sound financial and commercial advice as the business partner to CEO and Executive Management Team, with respect to developing and aligning, financial and business strategies.
2.Responsible for all commercial aspects to deliver value to the organisation in supporting and driving business growth and operating strategies.
3.Develop financial strategies by forecasting on capital, facilities, and staff requirements; identifying monetary resources; and developing action plans.
4.Identify continuous service and business performance improvement initiatives.
5.Change agent for innovation, must play a key role in the overall objective of business digitization and automation.
6.Responsible for all financial aspects of the company including managing the finance team, maintaining strong financial controls, ensuring effective financial reporting and analysis and Tax and Statutory compliance.
7.Responsible for the IT and Supply Chain strategy including managing the Team, continuously improving customer service, and delivering value and innovation to the business.
8.Responsible for driving mergers and acquisitions from origination to execution to integration.
9.Responsible for managing, developing, and executing the BBBEE strategy.
10.Provide commercial support to the business for contractual aspects with customers, suppliers, and service providers.
11.Responsible for managing internal stakeholders including the Board, Shareholders and Ecowize Group Executives as well as external stakeholders including Banks, Auditors, Lawyers and Insurers.

Minimum Requirements:
•CA(SA) is essential, a Masters degree (MBA) will be advantageous.
•Experience in the service industry is essential.
•Experience in leading a diverse team and comfortable working in a dynamic environment.
•Experience in mergers and acquisitions; including due diligence, contract negotiation and integration.
•High level of Commercial acumen with previous experience in a Commercial role.
•Experience in a shared services environment.
•Experience in systems implementation.

•Expert at analysing complex situations and proposing a variety of alternative courses of action.
