University of Namibia herewith invites all qualified candidates to apply for the position of Lecturer: Physiotherapy (Neurology) in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation within School of Medicine at Hage Geingob Campus.

Teaching physiotherapy to students and assisting in module development; Lecturing requirements for the domain of physiotherapy stretches over the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th year of the course in Physiotherapy Science I & II, Applied Physiotherapy I & II. More lecturing capacity in this domain is further reiterated by the need for clinical supervision and facilitation in the 3rd year and 4th year when the students will be on clinical rotations with neurological in-patients and neurological out-patients; performing administrative duties; work together with the colleagues of the physiotherapy programme and the department; coordinator to further the development of the physiotherapy programme.
BSc in Physiotherapy (Hons) and a Masters in Physiotherapy Therapy; be registered with HPCNA or registerable as an Physiotherapist. Preferably 3 years’ academic teaching and clinical teaching experience in a tertiary institution to under graduate students. Experience as lecturer with a special interest in neurology and the relevant teaching experience and advanced clinical experience which is essential to physiotherapy practice. Clinical Supervision, Clinical Facilitation of students in Windhoek Central Hospital and Katutura Intermediate Hospital, outpatient clinics or any other settings (acute, non-acute or rural settings).
