Co-ordinate and direct quality control programme designed to ensure continuous production of products consistent with established standards.
Maintain product and processes to adhere to the food safety and quality standards.
Develop and analyse statistical data and product specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy of finished product.
Maintain quality control objectives and co-ordinate objectives with production procedures in co-operation with other plant managers to maximise product reliability and minimise costs.
Direct, through intermediate personnel, workers engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities, and products.
Plan, promote, and organise training activities related to product quality and reliability.
Investigate and adjust customer complaints regarding quality.
Promote food safety and quality culture throughout the processing system.

Qualifications and Experience
•Relevant Food Safety training – preferably FSSC 22000, PRP’S and HACCP
•3 years as a Quality or Food Safety Officer
•Attention to detail
•Communication skills - verbal and written
•Data collection, management and analysis thereof.
•Problem analysis and problem solving
•Planning and organizing
