To ensure compliance with tax legislation and tax reporting requirements across the group and provide decision support.

Ensure accurate and complete tax accounting and reporting by implementing and ensuring adherence to the necessary processes and controls.
Reduce risks and ensure compliance by preparing and reviewing tax returns.
Ensure legal compliance and reduce reputational risks or financial loss by attending to stakeholder queries (e.g. Namibian Inland Revenue Authorities etc.)
Increase awareness and compliance through communication and training to business on legislative changes, processes and policies.
Influence changes in legislation by providing comment to Namibian Inland Revenue Authorities channeled via Bankers Association of Namibia.
Ensure data integrity by providing advice on system changes
Identify possible risk areas through compliance tracking.
Ensure Tax returns are prepared and submitted on time.
Prepare monthly tax (dashboard) reports timeously.
Ensure that key Tax policies, processes and procedures are documented. Abilities Requirements:
Contributing to Team Success
Managing Work (includes Time Management)
Bachelor’s Degree in Financial field;
Post Grad in Tax/CA/BCom.LLB;
A minimum of three (3) years relevant experience on managerial level;
Sound knowledge of direct and indirect taxes.
Advance knowledge Excel and Word.
Bsc in Accounting, Tax and or Law plus a Post Grad in Tax/ Law/ Accounting qualification.
