Reporting to the Western Cape & Northern Cape Regional Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for business development, calling on schools, departmental district officials, key booksellers and libraries to generate sales and coordinating provincial activities.

Person will be calling on schools,
Calling education officials in districts
Calling key booksellers and libraries to generate sales.
The successful applicant will need:

A national diploma or equivalent in Education, Marketing or Sales
Extensive sales experience
A thorough understanding of the South African school curriculum
In-depth knowledge of the education and book trade market
Relationship building skills
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Planning and organizing skills
Report writing skills
Ability to operate within a team
Computer literate with MS Office, PowerPoint and Word
Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle essential
