Introduction
Reporting to the Government Market National Sales Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for business development organizing and conducting workshops for educators, callings on schools, key booksellers and libraries to generate sales and coordinating provincial activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Grow Sales and market share through targeted sales activities
Develop an overall sales strategy and plans
Implement Sales Plans
Expand adoptions of front list and blacklist titles
Develop the overall bookseller strategy and implementation plan
Collaborate with Sales and Operation Lead
Collaborate with other Sales Managers, Customer services, Marketing and Finance
Requirements
The successful applicant will need:

A national diploma in education, marketing or sales
Extensive sales experience and proven track record
Relevant training experience
A thorough understanding of the South African school’s curriculum
In-depth knowledge of the education and book trade market
Relationship building skills
Strong facilitation and communication skills
Planning and organizing skills
Report writing skills
Ability to operate within a team
Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle essential
