Introduction
The Clinical Facilitator is responsible for the provision of clinical education and training support within the Nursing Discipline and for the overall skills plan of the hospital. Passing on knowledge and further development of Nursing Students.

Specification
•Examine patients to assess general physical condition and to assess mobility, strength, communication, or cognition.
•Record patient medical histories and document examination results, treatment plans, and patients' outcomes.
•Assess characteristics of patients' pain such as intensity, location, and duration using standardized clinical measures.
•Treat chronic diseases or disorders and provide inpatient or outpatient medical management Of neuromuscular disorders, musculoskeletal trauma, acute and chronic pain, deformity or amputation, cardiac or pulmonary disease, or Other disabling conditions.
•Monitor patient progress or responses to treatment and monitor effectiveness of pain management interventions such as medication and spinal injections.
•Develop treatment plans that use non-medical therapies and develop comprehensive plans for immediate and long-term rehabilitation including therapeutic exercise; speech and occupational therapy; counselling; cognitive retraining; patient, family or caregiver education; or community reintegration.
•Collaborate with healthcare professionals (multidisciplinary team/s) to plan or provide treatment and coordinate physical medicine and rehabilitation services with other medical activities.
•Consult or coordinate with other rehabilitative professionals including physical and occupational therapists, rehabilitation nurses, speech pathologists, neuropsychologists, behavioral psychologists, social workers, or medical technicians. Prescribe treatments or therapies and physical therapy to relax the muscles and improve strength.
Requirements
•MBCHB (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery/Chirurgery).
•Current HPCSA Registration.
•2-3 years' experience as a Psychiatric Medical Officer.
•Experience within a private hospital environment. (advantageous).
