Use data to extract quantifiable insights from past HR trends and current
conditions to enable HR to improve efficiency and bottom-line performance. The
primary role is to turn data into knowledge to enable and improve key HR

HR Data Analytics and Insights
Investigate complex hypotheses, using a wide range of HR data to diagnose
underlying causes of key business issues and identify opportunities to enhance
employee engagement and/or improve business performance.
Business Requirements Identification
Collect business requirements using a variety of methods such as interviews,
document analysis, workshops, and workflow analysis to express the
requirements in terms of target user roles and goals.
Insights and Reporting
Prepare and coordinate the completion of various HR data and analytics reports,
identifying and interpreting complex patterns and trends, and translating those
insights into actionable recommendations. Recommend data quality metrics, and
ensure they are documented and tracked
Data Collection and Analysis
Conduct research using primary data sources and select information needed for
the analysis of key themes and trends. Identify business intelligence, reporting
and data analysis needs.
Continuously explore the HR data and discover business intelligence. Business
intelligence is defined as meaningful trends, anomalies, patterns and
relationships within the data. Take responsibility for HR ad-hoc analysis
HR Data Management
Contribute to the development and testing of HR data collection forms or
questionnaires in area of expertise to ensure the collection of relevant data in
line with defined requirements. Use data management systems to deliver
prescribed outcomes with guidance from senior colleagues. This includes being
responsible for operating key elements of the system.
Engage and maintain relationships with Senior HR leaders,
HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, People Enablement ( Talent,
Reward & L&D) & Data Science to support the communication of business
information and decisions.
Work with the central data visualisation team to ensure all recurring business
intelligence reporting is done from the central business intelligence
infrastructure and is fit for purpose, up to date and correct
Application Software Development
Contribute to development of existing and new applications by analyzing and
identifying areas for modification and improvement. Contribute to development
of new applications to meet customer requirements.
Personal Capability Building
Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development
planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or
maintain external professional accreditation where relevant to improve
performance and fulfill personal potential. Maintain an understanding of relevant
technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing
education and trends.
Assist in the training of users, including executives, to use recurring business
intelligence information correctly and in an action-orientated manner.
Bachelor’s degree in Informatics, Computer Science, Business Management,Statistics, Economics or similar (Essential)
(bachelor degree requirement might be waived with proven specialized training/certifications);
HR Analytics experience (Advantageous)
3 or more years of proven business analysis or related experience (Essential);
Experience and knowledge of the financial insurance industry (Advantageous)
