Introduction
Exciting opportunity to work at ACDC Dynamics, a leading manufacturer, importer and distributor of quality products in the electrical, electronics, pumps, and tools industry is looking for experienced and Dynamic Receiving Clerk at our new Richmond Park Retail Store.



PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

We are looking for a responsible Receiving Clerk to receive, inspect and record shipments and products. You will be responsible for unloading packages and checking their contents to ensure they match the orders.

You must have a great eye for detail and basic math skills. To carry out your duties successfully, you will need adequate physical strength to unload products as well as clerical skills to update records and follow up with suppliers.

The goal is to ensure we receive the correct packages and stock them appropriately.




Verify packages according to order and invoices (quanity, quality, price etc)

Contact supplier if a mistake is identified

Assume responsibility for returning unsatisfactory shipments or receiving replacements

Label deliveries and allocate them to their designated designation

Ensure invoices are signed and paid for satisfactory deliveries

Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Collaborate with procurement staff to list expected deliveries

Receive shipments and sign paperwork upoun receipt

Unload packages from incoming trucks

Inspect contents to ensure they are undamaged

Requirements
REQUIREMENTS:


Matric Certificate

Proven experience as receiving clerk or similar position within a retail environment

You will need to have a clear criminal record, good work ethics, the ability to work well in a busy and pressured environment

Experience in operating forklifts

Working knowledge of computer programs for entering data

Solid understanding of health and safety regulations

Basic math and recording abilities

Excellent organizational skills

Great communication and interpersonal abilities

Reside in or around Milnerton area Blouberg, Tableview, Atlantis, and Botmasig areas

A stable work record, and have contactable references

Please note you will be required to work Retail Hours: Monday to Thursday 07h30 – 17h00 and Fridays until 16h30

Saturdays (per roster schedule) and Public Holidays if required

A willingness to represent the Company in a responsible manner, promoting and maintaining a professional image at all times
