The purpose of the role is to oversee the daily management of the prepaid metering requirements through customer queries, vending platform operations as well as metering hardware management and revenue protection.

Provide assistance and administrative support to the department.
1.Ordering of prepaid meters
3.Preparing accommodation type reports
6.Arrange Site Inspection Roster
7.Follow-up with site inspector on investigations
8.Logging of cases on MDA
9.Generate Tokens on Prepaid platform for (Free Issues, Replacement Tokens and Repair Tokens)
10.New meter registration
11.Set tariff indexes
12.Update tariff on system
13.Attend to prepaid meter queries
14.Stock Inventory and Stock Take
15.Compile VMSLK COS Report
16.Prepaid Summary report
17.Prepaid Platform monthly maintenance
18.Arrange stock for technicians daily
19.Update meter numbers on MDA
20.Move replaced / faulty meters into Replaced Meter Storeroom
21.Consumption queries and reconciliations
22.Job Card allocation and review
23.Provide reports on installations, cost, progress and feedback of meters.
24.Compile Meter recharge per quantity Report
25.Emergency after hours assistance
26.Manage the after-hour phone
Mostly Office Based. Limited Travelling will be required.
Qualifications & Experience:
1.Matric qualification required.
2.Administration course or related qualification preferred.
Skills & Knowledge Required:
a.MS Word – Intermediate
b.MS Excel – Intermediate
c.MS Power Point – Intermediate
d.MS Outlook – Intermediate
2.2- 3 years’ administrative experience required.
3.Basic understanding of meter reticulation required
4.Basic knowledge of how metering works preferred
5.Understanding of how Council tariffs work preferred
