To record, interpret and report activities of the CAA in financial terms and protect its assets.
Cashbook reconciliations, Salary control account reconciliations and journals
Prepare reconciliation of bank accounts monthly and ensure reconciling items are timeously resolved.
Reconcile salary control accounts monthly and liaise with payroll office to resolve all reconciling items.
Prepare daily reports of bank balances.
Prepare monthly general ledger journals timeously and accurately.
Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliation file.
Timeously clear audit findings relating to area of responsibility.
Manage and maintain relationship with banks
Ensure deadlines for month end and year end are met
Ensure that reconciliations are properly filed.
Ensure that all filed transaction/documents are easily retrievable for future reference and auditing.
Prepare monthly reports.
Prepare year end reports.
Perform any other responsibilities from time to time as assigned

National Diploma in Finance or equivalent qualification
Ideal Qualification Degree in Finance
3 Years experience as an Assistant Accountant or Cashbook experience
