Responsible for the management of the Credit Control Department ensuring monies are collected timeously.
Requirements
RESPONSIBILITIES

Credit Control Management
Send invoices and client statements to ensure payments are received timeously
Maintain accurate records of communication activity with customers
Submit regular feedback per required deadlines set by the business to the Financial Manager
Deal with customer queries in terms of their accounts
Follow up on payments on a daily basis, to ensure payments are made timeously
Updating customer information in line with internal control processes
Attend to calls professionally internally and externally
Attend to all messages within an hour of receiving it
Ability to reconcile accounts and communicate findings to customers
Suspending customers that have not paid
Adherence to applicable legislation i.e. NCA etc.
Preparing payment file for attorneys and collection agents listing handed over account on ITC (Trans-union)
Approving Final Notices being issued for defaulted accounts
Manage client accounts on in-house systems by reviewing payments and nonpayments on a daily basis.
Suspend client accounts when they have not paid.
Un-Suspend client accounts upon receipt of payment from clients.
Compile overdue list for distribution to business
Reconcile list to ensure only over dues are sent to the relevant regions.
Compiling overdue report for review
Ensure receipts are done every 2 weeks with feedback on AAA and EEE accounts
Ensure all credit controller give feedback on task given in review
Quarterly limit review to be done
Regular customer visits
Compile a Final Notice letter to client whose account is outstanding and requires payment urgently.
Make payment arrangements with clients and send acknowledgement of debt as proof of this arrangement.
Hand over clients whom do not make payment within 21 days of Final Notice

Process Management
Adhere to internal processes implemented by management
Approval to be obtained for any adjustments to credit limits or trading terms.
Customer documentation kept safe and secure files, invoices etc
Filing of supporting documentation completed
Adherences to CRM SLA`s put in place
All financial controls are adhered to
No unauthorized changes to be made to customers account
No customer information is given to any unauthorized person
Filing is up to date
95% of all SLA`s are met

Financial Controls
Assist the organisation and management of internal and external audits.
Develop and maintain standard financial and administrative procedures.
Ensure expenses are authorised and processed in accordance with agreed procedures
Maintain the accounting reporting process, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of ledgers and all supporting documentation and compliance
Maintain accounting records, ensuring they are complete, accurate, well archived and safeguarded.
