|Job Functions||Environmental Services|
Roles & Responsibilities:
•Develop a Standard Operating Procedure as the point of departure that describes how the redundant materials will be handled
•To oversee and manage the identification of redundant materials at the respective workplaces
•Develop and maintain an asset register of all identified materials
•Oversee the sale of the identified materials as per the agreed methodology of sale
•Maintain thorough records of all activities and transactions
•Grade 12 Certificate
•Qualified with trade papers section 13 (Boilermaker/Welder/Fitter) or equivalent qualification
•At least 3 years working experience is a mandatory requirement.
•Experience and knowledge and ability to distinguish between of different types of metals is a mandatory requirement.
•Safe loading and transporting of heavy materials on public roads are essential.
•Accurate record keeping and basic accounting/bookkeeping skills are critical.
•Ability to interact with line managers, service departments and service providers is non-negotiable.
•Computer Skills particularly Excel worksheets is essential
•Own transport to travel between the mines is essential
•Work is mostly on surface but may require underground visits on an ad hoc basis
•Valid Certificate of Fitness
•Valid Driver’s Licence
