Introduction
Be responsible for local planning, implementation, and maintenance of ADC IT platforms, including support of server hardware and operating systems. This includes network management, fault management, monitoring and provisioning as well implementing upgrades, configuration remediation, and system enhancements. Ensure adherence to ADC IT security policies in all activities.
Provide support for all Data Centre IT systems – including but not limited to Building Management Systems (BMS), Electrical Management Systems (EMS), Security Systems, Customer Relationship Management Systems (CRM), Billing Platforms, Data Centre Infrastructure Management (DCIM), Microsoft Azure and Office 365.
Provide IT support for end users and end user equipment, including desktops, laptops and printers. Provide weekly and monthly reports across areas of responsibility.

IT Hardware, Software and Network Deployment
Implement changes to existing IT systems as directed
Support the acceptance of new IT systems, including quality assurance checks
Support integration between internal IT systems and LIT Group IT and 3rd party platforms
Implement operating system build, software releases and changes to ensure IT System stability
Follow IT Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for IT systems

IT Operations
Carry out daily system support and patch management of all IT systems
Perform System Administration tasks as per scheduled maintenance
Perform incident management and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for IT incidents
Perform testing of disaster recovery plan for IT Systems as per business requirements

IT Monitoring and Reporting
Monitor system performance throughout the environment and identify any potential threshold breach
Respond to critical alerts in accordance with Operational Level Agreements (OLAs)
Carry out IT Backup and Restore procedures for IT systems as and when required
Collect performance data, and compile weekly performance management reports
Collect capacity data, and compile weekly capacity management reports

IT Support
Provide support to ensure that system incidents, information requests, and other support activities are resolved timeously
Provide support to ensure that end user incidents and information requests for all desktop applications including Office 365, Sharepoint,
general IT applications are resolved timeously
Ensure first line support for corporate networks, including cabling, switches, access points
Provide server and application support is provided for all on-premises and cloud infrastructure
Track and manage cross-functional operational support between ADC and LIT Group IT, and ensure that all incidents are resolved within the required timeframe

IT Security and Compliance
Follow information Security Policies and Processes to ensure the protection of all electronic data
Adhere to IT Security policies, and carry out security measures as directed for IT platforms
Support the implementation of security patches in all applicable IT systems
Carry out IT Asset Tagging and Tracking for all local IT assets
Provide inputs to the IT risk register, and take action as directed to address risks
Requirements
Qualifications
National Diploma in IT or Computer Systems
IT qualifications related to Data Centre technologies
Relevant IT Qualifications in Technologies such as – Microsoft Windows Server, Linux, Unix, Storage, DHCP, Active Directory, Office 365
Network – Routing, Switching, Wireless, Security

Experience
3 years' Operational IT support experience
Experience in the IT / Telecommunications industry implementing applications, especially in the areas of Microsoft products, End User Security, Network, Cloud base services and Infrastructure, Billing Platforms, CRM platforms, IT Service Management platforms, Electrical and Mechanical BMS systems
