The role:

To lead the Warehouse team in the daily management and service delivery of the Warehouse to ensure effective stock receiving, binning, issuing, deliveries and the management and distribution of bulk fuel and lubes

The duties will include but are not limited to:

•Ensure compliance to safe operating standards in the warehousing operations and coordinate continued job and risk control verifications to ensure a safe work environment
•Manage the ordering, storage and distribution of bulk fuel and lubes including facilitating the maintenance and repairs of bulk storage facilities
•Manages all Warehouse Administrator personnel ensuring the effective receiving, binning, stacking, picking, issuing, and dispatching of goods
•Support the distribution of operational requirements through effective staging as per agreed standard
•Monitor and report on all Warehouse activities
•Responsible for good housekeeping practices in the warehouse and yards as per the relevant guidelines and procedures
•Manage accurate system processing as per Warehouse standard in support of good stock control
•Coordinate on time provision of materials for planned and scheduled work
•Manages the maintenance requirements of Warehouse infrastructure and equipment

You will need:

•Degree / National Diploma in Supply Chain Management or equivalent
•A minimum of 4 years’ experience in Supply Chain Management of which at least 1 year in a supervisory position
•Sound knowledge of warehouse processes and management of bulk fuel and lubes
•Experience in SAP materials management
•Computer literacy in MS Office Suite [Excel, Word & PowerPoint]
•Valid Certificate of fitness or able to obtain

Advantageous:
•Experience in safety management
