MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Oversee and facilitate and environment for the management of quality related to academic processes at Head Office level as well as delivery site level
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
1.Oversee the management of the maintenance of the accreditation status with the CHE, Umalusi and QCTO as well as registration with the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) in the higher education as well as TVET space.
2.Oversee the management of the academic policy environment
3.Conceptualise and implement quality management systems such as e.g. audits and design instruments for implementation
4.Identify, analyse, evaluate and solve accreditation and registration problems and propose risk mitigation
5.Manage the impact of changes in educational legislation on Educor and its sites
6.Manage the performance of the QA Unit through a synthesised system of quality assurance, quality support, quality development and enhancement and quality monitoring and review

REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB:
1.A minimum of a Masters degree, preferably in quality assurance or educational management
2.10 Years’ Experience in the higher education sector.
3.High level of competency in MS Office, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint
