Liaison with various Stakeholders e.g. Council of Centurion age, SAGA, Plus 50 Grey power Age in action, SARP, Head of the SAVF, etc. in order to create a good platform for AVBOB business.

Key Performance Areas:
Build relationships with all the above stakeholders working with the old age facilities in order to source business
Set a platform for the consultant to come and sell our product
Present the file of life to the old age candidates
Establish relationships with churches, hospital senior structures, old age homes
Conduct weekly visits to the old age homes
Identify people (institutions) working with Senior citizens e.g. Clinics/matrons and managers of old age homes build relationships for prospective business
Maintain thorough knowledge of the business, as well as an understanding the benefit of our products on Senior citizens and key institutions
Provide a client and public liaison service focused on maintaining and enhancing the Group’s image with the military, correctional services and the SAPS
Act as spokesperson for the Group and establish AVBOB as the brand of choice in key institutions
Develop and maintain database of relevant stakeholders, public relations documentation and other related information.
Maintain and implement a public relation strategy, policies and procedures for dealing with the military, SAPS, correctional services and other relevant stakeholders
Maintain a database of prospective clients and stakeholders within the organisation’s target market and ensure the maintenance of a regular communication channels
Present open days and information centres
Arrange for presentation at large gatherings where AVBOB can get exposure
Attend events/social and formal gatherings to obtain information in order to develop and expand our sources
Continuously source opportunities to develop and expand markets
Monitor, coordinate, and communicate strategic objectives of the business to internal and external stakeholders
Collaborate and communicate successfully with external stakeholders
Work with other business members to develop a greater understanding of the business and any issues that may arise
Collect, analyse, and utilise data and feedback to identify opportunities to improve the relationship between the AVBOB and the other related structures
Compile reports about particular incidents, events, or updates about important issue for the business
Proactively solve conflicts and address issues that could occur between the business and the other entities
Promptly respond to incidents and other relevant events as necessary
Act as a positive representation of the business to the community
Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:
Relevant Bachelor’s degree
2 years of experience in a related role
Fit and Proper

Knowledge and Experience:
Ability to establish and nurture beneficial business relationships
Self-motivated with a willingness to take initiative and solve complex problems
Capability to negotiate with and influence others
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and sometimes high-pressure environment
Organizational and time management skills
Knowledge of Long term insurance industry practices and legislative requirements governing the
Insurance sector including FAIS and FICA.
