The Regional Cooler Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and recording of new placements, movements, breakdown repairs and in-field evaluation of The Beverage Company’s Coolers, fountains and dispensing assets. The role is therefore responsible for mainatining the regions cooler and fountains asset register. The role coordinates the implementation of the Cold Strategy, ensuring a market driven differentiated service offering that builds sustainable competitiveness within clearly identified channels. The role is therefore key to driving sustainable growth, brand equity, sales volume, market share, competitive advantage and corporate reputation. The role is also required to establish a trusted partnership within the cooler environment that differentiates BevCo form competitors though active customer interactions and relationship buillding.

Key Accountabilities and Outputs

Cooler Administration
•Coordinates end-to-end cooler and asset management within the region
•Own the region’s cooler and asset validation process, as a live process, to ensure that The Beverage Company’s coolers are continuously validated in terms of location, status and planogram adherence
•Ensure that The Beverage Company cooler management systemis utilised within the region (i.e. Rapid Trade and MRO Partner Management Systems). Ensuring efficiency with cooler repairs, movement between stores,and new cooler placements. Responsible for all administrative processes inclusive of POs and GRNs for adhoc activities, delivery of assets to depots and regional cooler branding requirements.
oActs as liaison between The Beverage Company and the third party Maintenance, Repairs and Operations (MRO) service provider
oNew Coolers: Work closely with asset management and suppliers to ensure planned coolers are placed in relevant areas, aligned to sales representative, store and geo-location
oCooler Repair: Ensure the Logging of cooler repairs on the TBC cooler management system with live reporting and event logging, where required. The process is to be administered from opening to closing of service requests
oMovement: Ensure the coordination and logging of cooler movements, ensuring accurate recording of final location in store (automated or manual system), always ensuring relevant geo-locations are logged correctly
oGeneral Trade Verification: Evaluate and verify all coolers, locations, content, merchandising principles and evaluation of merchandising brief, within the cooler, location and in store to provide automated reporting within the market.
•Manage key deliverables and communicate daily with the Regional Sales Manager and the National Asset Manager to ensure efficient and effective cooler management
•Ensure accurate master data management of live cooler management systems (automated and manual)
•Utilise the cooler management dashboard systems to manage and report on coolers and ensure that all relevant internal parties are kept updated with regards to cooler administration progress (including successes, areas where attention is needed, as well as opportunities to explore)Actively provide input into the operational planning and budgeting processes
•Drive continuous improvement through streamlining and optimising relevant operational practices, processes and systems
•Ensure adherence to operational and financial frameworks of practices, processes, standards and controls
•Control cost and take the necessary action to mitigate any financial risks or non-compliance

Qualifications and Experience

•Driver’s license (Essential)
•Grade 12 / Matric / NQF level 4 (Essential)
•3-year tertiary or equivalent qualification (Advantageous)
•Up to 2 years’ experience (Operational Execution) Proven administrative ability / asset management experience
•Understanding of commercial requirements
•Good with numbers and analytics
•Robust IT Skills
