We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Coordinator position based in Johannesburg at our Modderfontein offices. The Marketing Coordinator will be reporting to the Marketing Manager.

The purpose of the Communication and Marketing Coordinator is to assist and support the effective implementation of the marketing strategy and activities.

Job Objectives and Functions

Marketing Strategy
•Responsible for contributing towards creating marketing and design strategies for specific campaigns and keeping up to date with
the annual marketing plan.
•Responsible for researching and compiling content for all marketing activities and or campaigns; and contacting suppliers and or
vendors, when required.
•Assist in compiling annual marketing calendar inline with marketing strategy
•Accountable for assisting the marketing manager with implementing all marketing campaigns, seminars, workshops and or
conferences in order to market the Barron Brand.
•Responsible for assisting with the planning of a marketing event by liaising with suppliers and or vendors by booking venues,
confirming guest lists, setting up the venue, and ensuring that there are sufficient Barron products.
•Responsible for all social media platforms management and website updates
• Accountable for conducting marketing research on consumer behaviour which will drive the marketing strategy and providing
findings to the Marketing Manager.
•Responsible for employing marketing analytics techniques to gather important data (i.e. social media, web analytics, rankings etc.);
and create and propose online content on the company’s website and social media account.
•Assist with updating budget as per the campaign executed; engaging with the Marketing team and relevant stakeholders on the
execution of marketing calendar activities; and assisting with the implementation of these campaigns.
•Assist internal stakeholders with adhoc communication and marketing requests in line with their brief.

Administration & Reporting
•Accountable for undertaking adhoc daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the marketing
•Responsible for collecting and analysing data on customer demographics, preferences, needs, and on consumer opinions and
marketing strategies and provide feedback to the Marketing Manager and make recommendations, where applicable.
•Completion of major campaigns assist with reviewing stakeholder experience and consolidate report; consolidate monthly email
statistics and present findings to Marketing team.
•Regularly consolidate social media management and web-leads report and share with relevant stakeholders
