Design and develop courses or programmes, redesign courses and create learning material. The goal is to facilitate learners in acquiring knowledge, skills and competencies in an effective and learner-centred manner.

1.Conduct analysis
•Understand the learners, their knowledge level and skills level
•Understand the learning environment and possible constraints
•What is the scope, timeline an possible cost of the learning project
•Work with subject matter experts to identify the learners learning needs
2.Design learning content
•Set the entry requirements for the learners
•Plan the learning objectives of the learning intervention
•Determine the flow and structure of the learning modules
•Design an evaluation system to assess impact and engagement
•Map each phase of the learning modules to the timeline decided
3.Development learning content
•Select most suitable delivery method for the learning modules
•Translate designs into actual learning materials
•Development learning material to cover all goals and objectives of the training design process
•Create supporting learning documents like facilitator guides, activity guides and media
4.Implement learning content
•Make the learning material available to learners or conduct the said learning
•Assess the learners
•Collect evaluations from the learners and other stakeholders
•Train others on how to deliver the learning material
5.Evaluate learning content
•Evaluate the performance of the learning design and development of the learning material
•Revise the learning material based on feedback received from program reviews
•Research new innovations in both learning design and development
6.Maintenance
•Review existing learning material, courses and programs
•Update and maintain existing learning material
7.TCF
•Treat all clients fairly when designing and developing learning material, courses and programs
•Sustain TCF principles in the maintaining of existing learning material
