We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Account Manager to join our high performing sales team.
The primary purpose of the role is to effectively maximise ad spend of the Agency division within East Coast Radio, while managing relationships with advertising agencies and clients.
This person will be required to maintain various internal and external relationships, take initiative and have a good understanding of sales & marketing processes.

•To build and develop strong relationships with agencies and clients.
•Complete regular needs analysis on all clients in order to present a solution based campaign that generates results
•To sell advertising airtime at a profitable margin and within the discount
•Drive and actively engage in the sales process to ensure stakeholder needs are met
•Participate in sales programs from time to time i.e. Flight Club
•Keep clients updated on all station opportunities and packages
•Monitoring of annual commitments and regular tracking of ad spend.
•Fulfil all reporting requirements, as and when required by sales
management (including CRM, activity, pipeline etc)
•To aim for 15-20% NTR sales annualy
•Attend ECR events and host clients
•Manage the stations’ CRM opportunities for advertiser benefit
•Abide and live by the East Coast Radio values and culture
•Completed Matric (Grade 12)
Experience & Skill requirements:
•Preferably 2 years’ experience in the advertising and media sales environment
•At least 3 years successful experience in sales essential
•Excellent communication skills – written, verbal and telephonic
•Ability to make decisions
•Above average problem-solving ability and negotiation skills
•Excellent presentation skills
