As Business Process Analyst you will be required to identify, develop and document all process related problems & opportunities within the business. They will also be responsible for all process improvement and re-engineering initiatives in order to achieve sustainable business solutions. The business process specialist is responsible for facilitation of meetings, documentation of processes and process mapping, and participation and provision of systems knowledge on behalf of the user/ business to ensure that functional specifications meet business requirements.

•Design and execute process improvement initiatives, taking responsibility for individual delivery in terms of resource budgets, scope and time
•Reduce business time and cost through improved process efficiencies
•Engage at a senior level to understand customer needs and provide input into process based solutions to support and influence business decisions
•Collaborate and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
•Establish measurements and targets to improve effectiveness and efficiency, including SLA's and OLA's
•Proactively plan work deliverables
•Perform gap analysis and due diligence
•Provide process input into requirements specifications
•Ensure that all aspects of an operation or process meet specified regulations
•Design, define and document end to end process solutions, in line with the company's standards and best practice
•Define and agree on the critical success factors and KPI's
•Document As-Is processes where required for understanding
•Conduct a gap analysis to identify the most feasible process design solution to meet requirements
•Design and document To-Be processes
•Identify and document risks and controls associated to business processes
•Work with business stakeholders and project team to define process metrics/performance goals and acceptance criteria for to-be processes
•Facilitate one-on-one or group workshops to elicit process requirements and facilitate to-be process design sessions
•Analyse and model data and data requirements where applicable
•Clarify and communicate the business process specifications to relevant stakeholders
•Facilitate review and sign-off sessions with stakeholders
•Where required, participate in the test effort to ensure that the delivered solution meets agreed business process specifications
•Act speedily to resolve problems, queries and complaints using problem solving techniques
•Participate in post project implementation review
•Keep documentation and files up-to-date and readily accessible
•Produce progress and management reports
• Ensure that all processes are relevant and are reviewed regularly
•Analyse operational and business process data to ensure that the process works at an optimum level, at the right rate and quality of output, to meet business needs
Minimum: Relevant Tertiary Qualification - (BSc, BCom - Information Systems, Engineering)
Advantage: Postgraduate degree
Advantage: Six Sigma certification
