Specification | Strategic Initiatives • To provide financial solutions to improve the Corporate Employees financial well-being in line with the strategic operational goals across multiple corporate engagement strategies whilst delivering the monthly and annual enrolment and sales targets. • Corporate Financial Consultant to collaborate with all internal stakeholders, financial wellness partners linked to the Money Solutions offerings to ensure effective execution. • Positively manage the performance of all agents, to meet and exceed sales targets, thereby ensuring growth and service delivery according to Bayport Financial Services business and operational strategy. 1. Operational Requirements • Responsible for on-site representation of Bayport at selected Corporate or Public Sector Employers The Corporate Financial Consultant must through effective engagement with employees at selected employers, evaluate their financial circumstances, detecting levels of distress and provide solutions/products in line with their level of distress and affordability. • The Corporate Financial Consultant will be responsible for ensuring that employees at their employer worksite(s) are made aware of encouraged to utilise the Bayport inbound and customer self-service channels (e.g. website, e-mail, short-code, inbound call and WhatsApp) to submit and fulfil their consolidation loan applications • The Corporate Financial Consultant will be responsible for enrolling customers using the Customer Enrolment Process (CEP) and explaining the customer’s credit health report • Assist the customer’s to complete the end-to-end loan applications and fulfilment processes using the Loan Origination System (LOS) • Where appropriate and required, negotiate settlement discounts to find an amicable loan offering or alternative debt solution recommendations that will assist distressed/over-indebted employees. • Refer customers under debt review/ admin or debt prescription solutions in line with corporate engagement strategy to the relevant department • Effective referring of no offers/ and/or above agreed rules to the Alternative Money Solutions area for approval.The Corporate Financial Consultant will be required to recruit and manage a small agent sales force to fulfil and execute his/her duties • Motivate and coaches agents as a means to transfer knowledge and skills • Ensure that laid down policies and procedures are adhered to by agents (standard operating procedures, credit policy, etc.) • Ensure that all engagements and operations are executed in line with Bayport’s internal policies and procedures. • Ensure that monthly sales, services and customer satisfaction targets have been reached on all products and services. Stakeholder Engagement • Maintain effective, professional relationships with employers, creditors, internal stakeholders as well as financial wellness partners to support the efficient execution of the Money Solutions offerings. • Responsible for ensuring that employer and, where applicable, trade union or other employer representative bodies are engaged, informed and supportive of Bayport’s on-site presence; • Effectively engage with team members and line managers to limit potential losses before loan approvals. |

Requirements | MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS • A Level 7 qualification in Finance, Commerce or Marketing; OR • An NQF Level 4 and 5-years experience and high performance in loan sales at Bayport. • People engagement is a key requirement. • Financial literacy knowledge and skills – reasonable understanding of personal finance, debt and savings. • Ability to explain basic financial concepts to others • Passion and desire to assist people in financial distress. • Must be willing to work flexible hours. • Must be willing to travel and stay in a location away from home for two to three months. • Must be fluent in English. This includes both the verbal and written mediums. At least one or two African Languages will be an advantage. PREFERED REQUIREMENTS • Experience in liaising with external service providers and 3rd party management. • Debt Rehabilitation and Debt Counselling/consultation experience/knowledge. • Debt evaluation and distress detecting abilities. • A valid driver’s Licence. PREFERRED INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE • Debt Counselling, Debt Administration, Legal process understanding • National Credit Act (NCA) basic knowledge. • Credit Industry knowledge. |
